It’s never too early to explore medicine!  So, suit up in your medical scrubs, grab a stethoscope, and begin learning how to care for animals and humans. Through simulated learning activities, we begin our journey with veterinary medicine.  Learn how to care for your favorite furry friends and discover animal wellness, disease protection, and PET First Aid. Then, gear up for family medicine.  Campers learn how to use a stethoscope, study anatomy, and explore science.

Paging all future doctors and nurses! Report to the Mini Medicine Summer Camp and learn how to check a pulse, listen to heart beats, and take blood pressures. Campers are dressed in medical scrubs, armed with a stethoscope and ready for a simulation learning experience. Working with a team, campers learn how to dissect a cow-eye, explore blood types, analyze DNA, learn life saving techniques and become CPR certified. Highlights of the week include field trips to medical facilities, interacting with medical professionals, and volunteer opportunities.

Are you interested in learning about cancer and other blood disorders? This symposium provides youth with an authentic learning experiences to teach how  hematologist and oncologist prevent, detect, diagnose, treat, and cure cancer and blood disorders. Learn about benign and malignant hematology, oncology specialties, radiation and chemotherapy, pharmacology, palliative care.  Through lecturers and case studies, students analyze complex cases to identify cancer and possible treatment options.  Working on a team, students receive a case, conduct research, and present findings at the end of the week.
