For one week, student take on the role of an elected official such as a Mayor or State Representative to solve complex problems, write a bill, and manage government.  We provide students with an authentic learning experience which includes daily challenges in crime, education, and financial difficulties of a struggling government.  While students are working to eliminate problems and build a better city or state, they are task with barriers and must navigate through party politics, culture, and public policy  in order to create a better city or state.  Students  meet elected officials and research government policies which support their proposed changes to the city or state policy.

How do you recruit and manage celebrity clients?  These are a just a few questions that you gain the answer to in this one-week symposium designed for future publicist.  Learn how to create and manage media relations of celebrity clients. Work on writing press releases for your celebrity client, release statements to avoid scandals, and prepare them for interviews.  Gain knowledge about pitching story ideas to magazines, radio, and blogs to increase celebrity profile.
